this morning we sat trying to sort the last post so we could actually put it up to be viewed, took ages because the photo uploader is so slow (technology these days) but its up now, hurrah. Then we had some more mango before setting out for the day, mmm.
First things first, had to get me(stu) some sunglasses caus my eyes were beginning to crinkle from having them half closed all the time cause its so god damn bright! Sadly however, still no hat in the hat collection... We then went and got the sea cat as apposed to the ferry over to Sydney. Once again the sun is shining down and it feels warmer than the day before. theres some palm trees on the way to ferry, they is big and cool. Stuart almost lost his phone on the sea cat. That woulda been reeeeeally bad seeing as technically it costs more than my camera did, but its ok, i (eva) came to the rescue and got the phone before it was lost forever. Phew!

First stop in Sydney was the STA travel place where the advisor lady was of no help at all and provided no advice at all. she was 100% useless. we left with the few leaflets she gave us and decided to hit the shops to buy some munchies for a picnic. We both found it really odd that Woolworths here is like a morrisons or asda rather than a woolworths that you'd find back in scotland. Thats where we bought our small feast of chicken slices, rolls, crackers and water.
After meeting Katherine very briefly outside her work we headed towards the botanic gardens which is just past the opera (got the spelling right) house. Didnt walk very far into the park before stopping on the grass and getting stuck in. Some small, cheeky birds came up and we shared some lunch with them. This was before they decided to declare war on some bigger birds for trying to steal our fantastic company from them. (Im sure it wasnt just the bread that they were after)

After relaxing in the gardens for a couple of hours we started to head back and caught a ferry just in time to get home. Stopping at the off-license to buy some "Tooheys" which is a popular kind of australian beer. Which we'll report back tomorrow on if it matches the high standards set by the almighty tennants.

Dad says on Kate's behalf we are enjoying your erudite epistles and frivolous photography. Rhodes is just as hot as Sydney whoever he is. Dad
